Terms of Business

Last updated: 18 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Eddie, an executive dashboard provided by JHC Consulting Group ("we", "us", "our"). By using Eddie or connecting a data source to it, you agree to these terms on behalf of your organisation.

2. The service

Eddie is a read-only reporting tool. It reads business data from the services you connect, stores a working copy, and presents dashboards, reports and alerts. Eddie does not write back to your source systems, and it does not create or estimate figures: every value is drawn from a connected source or is transparently derived from it, and unavailable values are shown as pending rather than fabricated.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to connect your data sources and for the accuracy of the data held in those source systems. Eddie reflects your source data; it is only as accurate and current as the systems it reads from. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the actions of users you invite.

4. Connected services

When you connect a third-party service (for example WorkflowMax, Xero or HubSpot), you authorise Eddie to access that service on your behalf under that provider's terms. You can disconnect a source at any time, which stops further syncing from it.

5. Availability

We aim to keep Eddie available and syncing reliably, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Syncing depends on third-party services and networks outside our control; where a sync cannot complete, Eddie is designed to serve the last good data and show its freshness rather than present incorrect figures.

6. Use as decision support

Eddie is provided to support your decisions, not to replace your own judgement or professional advice. Always confirm material figures against your source systems before relying on them for financial, legal or operational decisions.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and other than for liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from inaccurate source data or from decisions made in reliance on the dashboard. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Fees

Any fees for Eddie, and the plan your organisation is on, are as agreed separately with us. Where no fee has been agreed, the service is provided on the basis set out in these terms.

9. Termination

Either party may end the arrangement on reasonable notice. On termination we will stop syncing your sources, and you may request export or deletion of your data. We may suspend access where required to protect the service or comply with the law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Contact

This page is a starting template and is not legal advice. JHC Consulting Group should have these terms reviewed and tailored (fees, liability, governing law) before relying on them.
